Date Founded: 1906
In 1983, five local agents and their agencies merged together each with different expertise in the brokerage business. Coverage included marina, crane, and fuel oil businesses. They built the agency to a respected broker in the regional marketplace, representing some 24 local, regional, and national insurance companies. A number of other small agencies were acquired, and the agency was eventually bought by the Alera Group in 2018.
