Gould Insurance has been a family-owned and family-run business in Amesbury since 1934. Robert “Bud” Gould was running the agency with his son Jay in 1995 when they purchased C.B. Peterson Insurance Agency, another family-owned and run insurance agency in Amesbury. During that merger, Matt Sherrill went to work for the Gould family and has proudly been with the agency since 1996. In 2016, Matt purchased Gould Insurance and continued the tradition of caring for all the clients like they were their own family.
