The company was founded when David Morse and John Lowndes merged their agencies to form the Lowndes-Morse Agency. As the business grew and the Morse family became more involved, the agency was renamed Morse Insurance Agency to reflect its evolution and long-standing presence in the community.

In 2004, David’s three sons purchased the agency from their father and continued to build on the strong reputation and legacy he created.

In 2025, Morse Insurance became part of Patriot Growth Insurance Services. While ownership has expanded, the familiar local team and leadership remain committed to the same relationships, service, and community values that have defined Morse for decades.
